Is it normal for lymph nodes to stay in place?

Whether or not it is normal for lymph nodes to remain inactive depends largely on their cause. Lymph nodes that do not subside due to chronic inflammation are mostly normal. Lymph nodes that do not subside due to tuberculosis or tumorigenic lesions are abnormal. If the lymph nodes are enlarged and swollen due to chronic inflammation, the lymph nodes may subside when the inflammation is resolved. However, there are often clinical cases in which the lymph nodes do not disappear even after the inflammation subsides. If the lymph nodes do not disappear due to tuberculosis or neoplastic lesions, it is an abnormal situation and should be treated promptly. If the lymph nodes do not go away because of bacteria or virus, you can take antiviral drugs or antibiotics to treat them. Pay attention to maintain a normal work and rest schedule, avoid straining and staying up late, and eat a light diet and avoid spicy and stimulating foods, all of which are helpful to promote lymph node remission.
