The course of acute hepatitis varies according to its type and cannot be generalized. Acute hepatitis can be divided into acute jaundiced hepatitis and acute non-jaundiced hepatitis. Acute jaundiced hepatitis, with a course of about 2-3 months, is characterized by rapid onset and rapid progression of the disease, often showing varying degrees of yellow staining of the skin and the sclera of the eyeballs, and is most commonly seen in hepatitis A patients. Acute hepatitis without jaundice, most patients can recover within 3-6 months, but there are some cases of delayed condition, easy to turn into chronic, acute hepatitis without jaundice is mostly seen in hepatitis B and C, most of them are slow onset. The most prominent manifestations are loss of appetite, generalized weakness and pain in the liver area; some patients will have nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, which may be accompanied by fever and upper respiratory tract and other symptoms. The damage to liver function is weaker than that of jaundice. Generally speaking, the prognosis of acute hepatitis is mostly good, but we should be alert to the risk of severe hepatitis. In addition, patients with acute hepatitis should take bed rest, and the amount of daily activities should be such that they do not feel tired after activities. Eat a reasonable diet with small and frequent meals, and drink plenty of water (diuretic to remove yellow). At the same time, maintain a good state of mind to indirectly promote the improvement of the disease.
