What are the causes of sleep walking disorder symptoms?

The occurrence of somnambulism is related to the development and maturation process of the nervous system, so the older you are, the less common it is to have somnambulism. Many cases of sleepwalking have a family tendency and are also related to the growing environment such as loneliness, parental divorce, lack of warmth, etc. Head trauma can trigger sleepwalking. In adults, sleepwalking is closely related to psychological factors. Dreamwalking can often be induced after major trauma, and schizophrenic patients often have more sleepwalking than the general population. The pathogenesis of somnambulism: 1. Psychosocial factors: Some children experience somnambulism related to psychosocial factors. For example, disturbances in daily life, environmental stress, anxiety and fear, poor family relationships, poor parent-child relationships, academic tension and poor test scores are all related to the occurrence of sleep walking disorder. 2, sleep too deep: because dream walking disorder often occurs in the first 1/3 of sleep deep sleep period, so a variety of factors that make sleep deepen, such as overwork during the day, stay up late for several days to cause sleep deprivation, sleeping pills before bed, etc., can trigger the occurrence of dream walking disorder. 3, genetic factors: family survey shows that more patients with dream walking disorder have a positive family history, and the rate of monozygotic twins is 6 times higher than the rate of dizygotic twins, indicating that the disease has a certain relationship with genetic factors. 4, developmental factors: because the disease occurs mostly in childhood, and gradually stops with age, indicating that dream walking disorder may be related to delayed development of the cerebral cortex.
