Does the fever go down in new coronary pneumonia?

Patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia have a fever that usually subsides with effective treatment. Some patients present with only a low-grade fever and mild malaise without pneumonia manifestations and mostly recover after 1 week. However, it is worth noting that severe and critically ill patients may have moderate to low fever or even no significant fever during the course of the disease. However, most of the severe cases develop respiratory distress after 1 week, and severe cases progress rapidly to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis and bleeding and coagulation dysfunction. Therefore, from the current situation of admitted cases, patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia have fever, which will subside after effective treatment, and most of them have a good prognosis.
