Modern eye disease – “dry eye”

  As the name suggests, “dry eye” is a series of eye discomfort symptoms such as dry eyes, itchiness, and foreign body sensation. “Dry eye” for urban white-collar workers or IT engineers and so on, should not be too unfamiliar, or often disturbed by it.  1.What kind of people do “dry eye” like to pester?  Dry eye syndrome is closely related to our current work style and living environment, long-term computer video workers, people who play cell phones for a long time, contact lens wearers, people with frequent inflammation of the eyelids, middle-aged and elderly people, people after myopic eye surgery and people with certain immune diseases such as: dry syndrome.  2.What are the problems caused by “dry eye”?  The most common – is dry eye discomfort, can not work continuously, blurred vision, can not see for a long time, serious cases affect work and life.  Dry eye patients are also prone to infections such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, etc. In serious cases, corneal ulcers may occur, affecting vision.  3.How to avoid “dry eye”?  In order to avoid the above problems, we should reduce the use of electronic screens (especially cell phones, computers, iPADs, etc.) for a long time without interruption, and suggest to take a few minutes break between work; use air humidifiers; actively cooperate with the use of eye drops to avoid further problems; if the systemic disease is caused by the system, it needs to be treated systematically.
