Does Charcoal treat thyroid nodules

Xanthohumus does not treat thyroid nodules. There are no medications, or foods that can make thyroid nodules smaller. If the thyroid nodule is benign, no intervention is necessary. Patients can have their thyroid ultrasound and thyroid function reviewed every 0.5-1 year, or if the nodule is malignant, surgery is required. Patients can usually determine the nature of the thyroid nodule based on the thyroid ultrasound results. Malignant thyroid nodules have some characteristics on ultrasound, such as hard thyroid nodules, sand-like calcifications, unclear borders, abundant blood flow, longitudinal to transverse ratio >1, i.e. nodules growing longitudinally, or nodules with adhesions to the neck band, or multiple enlarged neck lymph nodes in addition to thyroid nodules, which should be considered as malignant nodules and the patient can have an aspiration biopsy. For thyroid nodules, patients are not recommended to use any medication or food treatment, except in iodine deficient areas, where some iodized salt etc. can be used.
