Patients with brain tumours may show signs of psychosis due to organic lesions of the brain. If the patient is in the hospital, the family should inform the doctor of the patient’s condition so that a specialist can liaise with the patient for treatment. If the patient is out of hospital, the family can take the patient to the neurosurgery or oncology department where the patient was previously seen to determine if the brain tumour has progressed.
