There are many drugs that cause psychosis, including poisonous mushrooms containing hallucinogenic substances, synthetic cocaine, cannabis and stimulants. These drugs are highly addictive and when taken inappropriately may cause the body to become dependent, altering the body’s emotional and conscious state and inducing psychosis.
