Can wearing earrings cure rheumatic diseases?

There is no reliable scientific evidence to prove that wearing earrings can cure rheumatic diseases, so wearing earrings cannot cure rheumatic diseases.
Rheumatic diseases are a group of chronic diseases involving bones and joints and their surrounding soft tissues (such as muscles, tendons, synovium, bursa, ligaments and cartilage, etc.) as well as other related tissues and organs, mainly including gout, systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis, etc. The commonly used treatment modalities include medication, surgery, and so on.
Wearing earrings is not an effective treatment for rheumatic diseases except for its decorative effect. Rheumatic diseases mainly rely on medication (e.g. celecoxib, methotrexate, etc.) and surgery (e.g. joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, etc.) to improve their conditions.
It is recommended that patients with rheumatic diseases should go to the rheumatology and immunology departments of regular hospitals in a timely manner and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized diagnosis and treatment in order to avoid delays in their conditions.
