Nasal congestion is one of the symptoms of novel coronavirus infection, but it is not possible to diagnose the organism infected with the virus by itself based on this symptom. According to the analysis of the cases that have appeared so far, the clinical manifestations of most patients are mainly fever, accompanied by dry cough, general weakness, dyspnea, nausea, vomiting, headache, nasal congestion and runny nose. However, these symptoms are very similar to those of common cold and influenza without any specificity, so they cannot be used as a basis for confirming the diagnosis of novel coronavirus infection. If people who have been to a heavily infected area or have a history of exposure develop the above suspected symptoms of infection, they should immediately go to the fever clinics around the world for formal pathogenic testing to confirm the diagnosis.
