How soon can I use the room after the imaging

After a woman has a tubal imaging, she should not have intercourse until the next month after her menstruation. Tubal imaging is a test for women who have fallopian tube obstruction and is usually performed 3-7 days after menstruation. A contrast medium is used to pass through the cervix and the uterine cavity to reach the fallopian tubes, and then a screen is used to observe the patency of the uterine cavity and the fallopian tubes. The contrast medium can irritate the lining of the uterus and fallopian tubes, resulting in a small amount of bleeding and the need to rest and take medication to prevent infection. If women have intercourse too early after tubal imaging, it will easily lead to infection in the uterine cavity and even aggravate the situation of adhesions and blockage of the fallopian tubes, which is not conducive to the prevention and treatment of gynecological diseases. Therefore, women should pay attention to proper rest and avoid straining after tubal imaging to reduce the occurrence of complications.
