How long does it usually take for a child to recover from swollen lymph nodes?

The recovery time for pediatric lymph node enlargement depends on the child’s own physical condition and the severity of the enlarged lymph nodes, and needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. Most of the swollen lymph nodes in children are caused by inflammatory stimuli. If the child has a good physical condition and the degree of swollen lymph nodes caused by local infection is mild, the swollen lymph nodes can subside on their own after the local infection is completely controlled, which usually takes 5-7 days. If the child has poor health and the local swollen lymph nodes are heavily infected, the recovery time for the child is longer and may take 2-3 weeks to fully recover. The cause of the swollen lymph nodes should be promptly identified and then treated accordingly. In terms of diet, children should eat more vegetables, avoid spicy and stimulating foods, pay attention to nutritional supplements, and improve body resistance.
