Ocular manifestations of common eye diseases

  1. Itchy eyes. If occasionally itchy eyes, after rubbing with your hands does not itch, this problem is not very serious, generally speaking, it is likely to have conjunctivitis, because our eyes are always exposed to the air, it is inevitable that they will come into contact with a lot of bacteria, so it will produce inflammation. You can order anti-inflammatory eye drops. For example, tobramycin, erythromycin, and ofloxacin type can be! Use other anti-inflammatory can also be. But do not use too expensive! In fact, the ingredients are similar, just a change of soup but not a change of medicine. If it is always itchy then you should consider that it may be allergic conjunctivitis, to use anti-allergy drugs. 2, red eyes. Many people stay up late or use their eyes too much, suddenly there will be red eyes, this is called “conjunctival congestion” in our medical terminology. The problem is not too big, do not worry too much, as long as it is more rest, the problem will basically be solved! 3, eyelid edema. The eyelids, to put it bluntly, are the eyelids. Divided into the upper eyelid and lower eyelid. If you wake up in the morning and find that your eyelids are swollen, you will generally consider whether you drank too much water last night or cried for a long time. The problem is not too big, and the swelling will slowly go down. 4. Eye grinding. Many of us may feel eye grinding in general and nothing else. There are two main possibilities for this. One, there may be conjunctivitis. Two, there may be stones in the eyelids. In both cases, it is not a big problem. If you have conjunctivitis, you can get rid of the inflammation. If there is a stone, if it is very abrasive, you must go to the hospital to do a small disposal, using a needle to pick out the stone can be! 5.There are always tears in the eyes. Look at this one separately. Look at whether the tears are outdoors or indoors, and it also depends on how much is flowing. To be outdoors, it is likely to be bright light stimulation, wind blowing, into foreign bodies, or other reasons, this problem is not a big deal, because this is a method of self-protection of the eyes. If the tears are indoors, and there are more of them. This will have to consider whether the tear duct is blocked. If you go to the hospital for tear duct disposal. If it is found to be blocked, the problem is not small! The tear duct needs to be implanted. 6, computer terminal syndrome. Nowadays, technology is very advanced and computers have basically reached popularity. Many adults originally had good eyesight, but due to prolonged addiction to the Internet or overtime, the computer is used too much, you will suddenly find your vision is declining! Seeing things has become blurry and not as clear as before! At this time, it is time to consider whether you suffer from computer terminal syndrome. This is not a big problem, more rest, slowly will be good! Of course, it is also possible to look too long, resulting in deeper readings! This is not a small group of people. Remember, do not immediately for optometry prescription. To wait for sufficient rest before optometry, after allowing the ciliary muscle to relax. Otherwise, it is easy to lead to a high degree! 7, dry eyes. One may be overworked, the computer look too much. You need to rest! Two, if you are a faithful wearer of contact lenses, then you have to be careful! Remember not to wear contact lenses for a long time for a moment of beauty, in case you get dry eyes, it’s really a problem! If you are always dry, go to the hospital and check to see if the tear secretion is low or the tear film is damaged. 8. There is a lump in the eyelid. This lump generally speaking has three cases, tumor, this serious. If it’s small and doesn’t hurt, it’s probably a chalazion, but if it’s red, swollen, and painful, you’ll have to consider it a wheal. If the hot towel, hot compress, does not disappear, you have to go to the hospital to do a small disposal. 9, strabismus. This is more common. Everyone has seen it, right? Some people have an outward slant of the eye (the eye to the temporal side), and some people have an inward slant. (That is, to the eye, or one eye to the side of the nose). In severe cases, it affects the simultaneous vision of both eyes and requires surgery. In mild cases, if you don’t think it will affect your eyes, just let it go! However, children should seek medical attention as soon as possible, otherwise, it will easily lead to amblyopia. (Amblyopia means that after correction, the vision still does not reach the normal 1.0.) Some people have cryptic strabismus, which can be ignored if it does not affect binocular vision. But except for children! 10, red-eye disease. The scientific name for this is “acute cataract conjunctivitis”. It occurs in the spring and autumn, and is contagious! We should pay more attention to eye hygiene! Once found, immediately seek medical attention, and will soon be cured! 11, eye pain. The pain has to be looked at separately. See how you are a pain. Is it soreness, or swelling pain! If the pain is sore, you may be eye fatigue, or glasses are not suitable, etc.. (It is possible that you have irregular astigmatism, etc.). This is not a big problem. But if it is a long-term swelling and pain. You should seek medical attention immediately. It is very likely that the eye pressure is elevated, this is a problem, if it takes too long, it is easy to be glaucoma. If it’s really glaucoma, it’s a problem! Early stage is okay, use some pressure-lowering drugs, the problem will be good. In late stages, you have to have surgery, and it’s always easy to have a recurrence. Many people with advanced glaucoma go blind quite a bit and have a high incidence. Even if they don’t go blind, they end up with visual field defects! Usually it becomes a tubular visual field. That is, like looking through a tube! You can imagine! Glaucoma is a headache in ophthalmology! The normal range of intraocular pressure is 10 to 21 mmhg. If it is neither soreness nor distension, but severe pain, it is likely that you have “keratitis”! There is no other way, quickly seek medical attention! 12. Sudden loss of vision. This generally speaking there are four kinds of conditions. One, retinal detachment (retinal detachment). The second is, optic neuritis. Third, acute glaucoma attack period. Whichever one it is, it is a headache! Of course, although basically all can be cured, but, think about it you are not afraid? What is it like to not be able to see the light? Close your eyes and feel it! Here, advise highly myopic people (more than six hundred degrees), try to do less strenuous exercise, pay attention not to let the head collision! What iron head, the lion flip head, do not practice! May be practiced, the net off, not to scratch! Fourth, the fundus hemorrhage! Of course, there are many diseases that can cause sudden loss of vision! 13, night blindness. Many people can not see at night. This one will have to consider two problems. One, consider whether vitamin A deficiency! The second is, is it retinitis pigmentosa! If it’s retinitis pigmentosa, it’s a real disaster! The first is visual field loss, plus night blindness! Over time, the field of vision will gradually become smaller, and finally blindness, there is no drug can be cured! I have seen a few cases clinically, and it is really cruel to be blind! Usually there is a family history of heredity. 14, hyperthyroidism eye. I don’t know if you have ever seen this, is due to hyperthyroidism caused by the eye problems. The eye is obviously protruding because of the hypertrophy of the extra-ocular muscles! It’s scary! You must first control the thyroid problem before the eye will improve! There is nothing wrong with the eye itself, it’s just the extraocular muscles! 15.Pterygium. In fact, pterygium is not a big problem, but more annoying! Some people may have seen the “flesh” growing on the nasal or temporal side of the eye. Of course, if it doesn’t reach the cornea, it’s called a blepharospasm, which is not a big problem, but if it reaches the cornea, it’s called a pterygium! Because of this, most people develop astigmatism, which makes it hard to see! In this case, surgery is required, and it is best to have a “stem cell transplant” so that the recurrence rate is lower. Otherwise, the recurrence rate is so high that it can reach more than 90 percent!
