How to determine if you have osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease characterized by a decrease in bone mass and microstructural degeneration of bone, causing an increase in bone fragility and susceptibility to fracture. It includes three aspects: 1) decrease in bone mass 2) change in microstructure of bone 3) increase in brittleness of bone and susceptibility to fracture. The common clinical symptoms of osteoporosis patients are: 1. pain: the most common symptom of primary osteoporosis, with pain in the lower back, accounting for 70%-80% of patients with pain 2. fracture: this is the most common and serious complication of degenerative osteoporosis, with fractures of the distal radius common in the early stages, and the lumbar spine and proximal femur common in the later stages.
