HPV68 high-risk positive means that the patient is carrying a high-risk pathogenic HPV virus. It can take up to six months for such patients to turn negative, but the exact time varies from person to person. In the case of HPV68 infection, patients can be observed for six months to a year to see if they will naturally turn negative. In the case of patients who are persistently positive, they generally need to be given antiviral medication for 3 months and then retested. If the patient never turns negative after standard treatment, colposcopic biopsy is recommended to determine if cervical intraepithelial neoplasia has occurred. Patients with HPV68 infection are advised to maintain a happy mood, avoid excessive mental stress and undergo regular rechecking; at the same time, pay attention to a balanced diet and insist on daily exercise to help improve the chances of HPV conversion.
