A psychiatrist’s job is to find the client’s internal map.

More and more people are interested in psychological counseling as a way to solve their psychological confusion, and more and more people see the demand of the society and start to engage in the psychological counseling profession. However, how to rationally understand psychological counseling, see it as a science rather than just a means of treatment, and play a suitable effect in the increasingly prominent psychological problems is still a topic worth exploring. Self-organized psychological counselors have what characteristics of those who do not move to the client labeled “depression” counselor, domestic psychology needs to come down from the authoritative point of view, become a service. Now many international psychological centers do not say “counseling center”, but say “service center”; do not condescendingly say “help who”, but say “service who”. Instead of saying “who to help”, we say “who to serve”. In the international psychiatric diagnosis, also does not allow calibrated diagnosis, but descriptive diagnosis. If the person is diagnosed as depressed, the counselor’s eyes will only see depression and nothing else, because the person has already been visually calibrated, and there is an automatic cognitive process whereby the person will actually become “depressed” on cue. The self-organized counselor should also be a repository of information, “knowing a little bit about everything, but not too much. First of all, you should have a certain understanding of philosophy, but also learn anthropology, sociology and other knowledge.” Once, Li Zixun met a nonlinear number modeling study of oil prices, the party insisted that he now get along with his subordinates bad temper stems from his mother’s attitude towards him when he was a child, Li Zixun responded: “You are researching the nonlinear number modeling, why not use nonlinear thinking to see their own relationship with their mothers?” It was the knowledge of some nonlinear number modeling that quickly led to an epiphany for the person in question. In short, in self-organization theory, the counselor does not care what the client says, but how he says it, how he constructs his story, how he lays out, reasons, sets up cause and effect, and finds the client’s inner truth through the analysis of the story. “Each person has his or her own inner map, and it is the counselor’s task to find the client’s inner map, rather than sticking to his story to reconstruct a new one that works for the client.”
