If the urine pH is less than 6.0 and the urine needs to be alkalized, lemon water or alkaline drinks can be consumed in moderation. For patients with high uric acid or gout, it is recommended to avoid high fructose beverages such as soft drinks and fruit juices, high purine animal offal or thick meat soups, and to actively abstain from alcoholic beverages and sugary drinks. During the remission period, patients can eat beef, mutton and some seafood products in moderation. Patients are advised to eat more alkaline foods, such as greens, carrots, melons, etc. Make sure to drink more than 2000mL of plain water daily, and actively control weight to avoid obesity.
