Hypospadias is a penile deformity in which the opening of the urethra does not reach its normal position due to hypoplasia of the anterior urethra, with a prevalence higher than one in three hundred. There are three typical features: 1. ectopic urethral opening, the urethral opening can be ectopic anywhere from the proximal end of the normal urethra to the perineal urethra. 2. 2. Most patients have a downward curvature of the penis. 3.Abnormal foreskin distribution, ventral foreskin defect of the penis, absence of the tether, and cap-like accumulation of foreskin on the dorsal side of the penile head. Hypospadias is divided into four types: 1. coronal groove type of penile head; 2. corporal type of penis; 3. scrotal type of penis; 4. perineal type. Surgery is the only way to treat hypospadias, and it can be done after one year of age, or at the latest before school age. After surgery, there are often complications such as urethral fistula, urethral stricture and urethral dilatation, but most of the cases can achieve the goal of straightening the penis to be able to have intercourse, the urethral opening in front of the glans to be able to stand to send urine, the diameter of the new urethra is appropriate and uniform, and the appearance of the penis is satisfactory.
