Common sense of home first aid for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

Cardiovascular disease is a common disease that seriously threatens human health, with “high morbidity, high mortality, high disability, high recurrence rate and multiple complications” – “four highs and one more”. The characteristics At present, cardiovascular diseases have become the number one killer of human health. Even with the most advanced and perfect treatment, more than 50% of the survivors are still unable to take care of themselves completely. Therefore, it is crucial to master the correct self-help measures at the early stage of the disease. If the patient’s blood pressure rises suddenly, he or she will have a headache with nausea and vomiting, so the patient should rest in bed; if there is a blood pressure monitor at home, the patient’s blood pressure and heart rate should be measured immediately; if the blood pressure is high, nifedipine (cardiac pain) or captopril (cardioplegia) can be given.
If the blood pressure is high, give 1 to 2 tablets of nifedipine (cardiac pain) or captopril (Kepone) orally or sublingually, and review the blood pressure after 20 to 30 minutes. Angina pectoris is the most common emergency in patients with coronary artery disease, and it occurs during exertion, emotional stress, full stomach, cold weather, and excessive smoking. The onset of angina is a compressive or suffocating pain in the precordial region that lasts for 5 to 10 minutes. Once the attack occurs, stop any activity immediately, rest quietly in place, and take 1 tablet of nitroglycerin or 1 to 2 tablets of cardiac pain under the tongue, which will be effective within 2 to 5 minutes. Acute myocardial infarction The site of pain is the same as angina pectoris, but the duration is longer and the degree is heavier, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, sweating and other symptoms, with a sense of near death. If possible, oxygen can be administered immediately. Take 1 tablet of nitroglycerin or 1 to 2 tablets of cardiac pain under the tongue, and call the emergency center immediately. Do not take a bus or help the patient walk to the hospital to prevent the myocardial infarction from expanding. Heart failure Elderly people with rheumatic heart disease, coronary heart disease, hypertensive heart disease and pulmonary heart disease, if they suddenly have difficulty in breathing, it mostly indicates heart failure, the patient should be allowed to rest quietly, semi-recumbent position, with both feet down, and oxygen can be administered immediately if necessary.
