Commonly used herbs for liver disease treatment

Liver disease refers to the lesions that occur in the liver. These include hepatitis B, hepatitis A, hepatitis C, cirrhosis, steatosis, liver cancer, alcoholic liver, and many other liver diseases. It is a common and extremely dangerous disease that should be actively prevented. The treatment of hepatitis B mainly includes antiviral replication, improving the body’s immune function, protecting liver cells, promoting liver cell regeneration, as well as Chinese medicine treatment, basic treatment and psychological treatment and other comprehensive treatment. Because the disease is prone to recurrence and HBV replication indicators continue to be positive, the following methods can be selected according to the situation: Anti-viral therapy For chronic HBV infection, viral replication indicators continue to be positive, anti-viral therapy is an important measure. The current antiviral drugs, the effect is not very satisfactory. After application can temporarily inhibit HBV replication, after discontinuation of this inhibitory effect disappears, so that the original inhibited indicators back to the original level. Some drugs work slowly and take a long time to see the effect. Because the efficacy of antiviral drugs is limited, and only when the viral replication is active to be effective, so in recent years the treatment of chronic hepatitis B tend to combine drugs to improve the efficacy. Immunomodulatory drugs 1, thymidine: by affecting cAMP and enhance T cell activity. The method is 10-20mg daily, intramuscular injection or intravenous drip, the course of treatment for 2-3 months. 2.Interleukin 2 (IL-2) can stimulate the proliferation of immune effector cells and induce γ-interferon. The method is 1000-2000U daily, intramuscular injection, once a day, the course of treatment 28-56 days. Some patients have turned HBeAg negative. 3.Lymphokine-activated killer cells are obtained by stimulating their precursor cells with lymphokines (such as IL-2 and γ-IFN). Domestic reports can make some patients turn HBeAg and HBV-DNA negative. Hepatoprotective drugs 1. Luteolin, extracted from the seeds of Silymarin, can stabilize hepatocyte membrane and promote hepatocyte regeneration. It is used as 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day for 3 months. 2.Glycyrrhizin extracted from Glycyrrhiza glabra is effective for carbon tetrachloride toxic liver damage, and is better for hepatitis treatment, with enzyme-lowering effect and rebound after stopping the drug. The existing similar product, glycyrrhizin injection, has been studied to have a better enzyme-lowering effect than strongin. It is used as 150mg in 10% glucose solution for intravenous injection once a day for 1~2 months, and it is prohibited for heart and kidney failure, severe hypokalemia and hypernatremia. Pregnant women and infants should not be used. 3. The usage is 80mg, taken 3 times a day for 3 months. Bifenacoum, usage is 15-25mg, 3 times daily, reduce the dosage after normalization of transaminases and maintain for 6 months. Both have enzyme-lowering effect.
