Most patients with cryptorchidism may have prolonged or intermittent haematuria and/or proteinuria. Most patients can maintain normal kidney function for a long time, and in some cases the condition can gradually decrease until it disappears, i.e. a minority of patients with cryptorchidism can recover on their own. Of course, there are some patients whose proteinuria can worsen and even develop hypertension and hyperalgesia, leading to the transformation of occult nephritis into chronic nephritis, so patients should not take it lightly.
