What is the difference between cryptogenic nephritis and chronic nephritis?

The difference between cryptogenic nephritis and chronic nephritis lies in clinical manifestations, treatment and so on.
1. Clinical manifestations: Cryptogenic nephritis is mostly asymptomatic, commonly asymptomatic hematuria, proteinuria and so on, but there is no edema, high blood pressure and renal function impairment and other symptoms.
Chronic nephritis, i.e. chronic glomerulonephritis, takes proteinuria, hematuria, hypertension and edema as the basic clinical manifestations, the onset of the disease is different, the disease is prolonged and slowly progresses, and there may be different degrees of renal function impairment.
2. Treatment: Cryptogenic nephritis is mild, no specific treatment is needed, attention should be paid to avoid aggravating factors of renal damage, and regular review; if hypertension or renal function damage occurs, it can be treated according to chronic glomerulonephritis.
The treatment of chronic nephritis should be mainly aimed at treating the primary disease, preventing or delaying the progressive deterioration of renal function, improving or relieving clinical symptoms and preventing cardiovascular complications.
Patients with cryptogenic nephritis or chronic nephritis should go to the hospital in time and be treated under the guidance of professional physicians.
