How do you get depression?

There is no clear answer to the cause of depression, but there are four main causes: 1) genetic and environmental interactions; 2) neurobiochemical factors; 3) psychosocial factors; 4) personality factors. Therefore, it is unscientific for many patients to talk about “hoping to find out the root cause of the disease and cure it completely” during the consultation, which is contrary to the disease characteristics of depression itself.
