Among all lower extremity ulcers, the proportion of ulcers caused by varicose veins is more than 70%, 20% are caused by other venous diseases, and the remaining less than 10% are caused by arterial diseases, thrombo-occlusive vasculitis, lymphatic obstruction, and neurological diseases, metabolic disorders, hematological disorders, and lipofuscinosis. It can be seen that lower limb ulcers are mainly caused by peripheral vascular diseases, varicose ulcers are also known as stasis ulcers, mainly due to stasis of blood in the veins of the lower limbs. Varicose ulcers start with local itching and then pain, redness and swelling, followed by rupture and water dripping, forming ulcers. Later, the ulcer does not heal over time, the sore sinks, the edge forms a jar, the flesh of the sore surface is grayish white or dark red, overflowing grayish black or greenish sewage, smelly and obscene, the skin around the sore is dark red or purple-black, and eczema develops every time due to toxic water immersion. The sores are more rotten than deep, and even the outer flesh is removed and the tibia is visible. If the affected limb is exposed with bruises, and if it is light and heavy, it can be years and years, and it is not easy to close the mouth or converge and re-ulcerate and spread rapidly, and it is cauliflower-like, and occasionally cancerous, which is more difficult to treat. The root of varicose ulcers is poor blood flow back in the blood vessels, so the treatment is only on the ulcer to scratch the itch, labor and little or no work. The most effective treatment is symptomatic treatment for the cause of the disease, do not blindly medical treatment.
