What’s wrong with a sudden breakout?

Sudden breakouts are generally referred to as acne, mostly due to hormonal imbalance, large amounts of sebum secretion, abnormal keratinization of the cells around the hair follicles, Propionibacterium acnes infections, etc. Poor dietary habits, medications, the environment, emotions, and staying up too late, etc., are the triggering factors for acne. 1. Hormone imbalance: The sebaceous glands of hair follicles are regulated by sex hormones. During puberty or eating disorders, staying up late, etc., the hormone levels in the body are imbalanced, with more androgens, which can easily stimulate the secretion of sebaceous glands, and the excessive sebum secretion can easily block the pores, resulting in acne. 2. Large amount of sebum secretion: In a hot environment, eating spicy and stimulating food or having strong sebaceous gland secretion, etc., it will easily lead to excessive sebum secretion and clogging of pores, which will trigger the production of acne. 3. Abnormal keratinization of perifollicular cells: Abnormal keratinization of perifollicular cells will easily lead to small, narrow and clogged follicle openings, so that sebum can not be discharged normally, clogging the openings of the follicles, and forming acne. 4. Propionibacterium acnes infection: Propionibacterium acnes can hydrolyze triglyceride lipids in sebum to produce free fatty acids, which stimulate inflammatory reactions around the hair follicles and form acne. Usually acne is the result of the combined effect of the above four factors, it is recommended that the patient is diagnosed, go to a regular hospital dermatology consultation and treatment, to avoid delays in the condition.
