Use acne-specific stick needles with caution

One of the skin damages of acne is blackhead pimples. Due to hyperkeratosis of the sebaceous ducts, the normal sebum excretion pathway is blocked and sebum accumulates in the ducts and gradually dehydrates to form sebum plugs. The needle of the acne squeezer can be used to pick the top of the acne, squeeze it and remove the plugs, so that the sebaceous ducts can be reopened and the acne can be repaired. In recent years, there have been many acne treatment stick needles, similar to acne squeezers, on the market. These stick needles should be operated by a professional beautician or dermatologist, and friends with acne should use them with caution on their own. The reason is, first of all, to choose the right stick needle, the needle thickness should be appropriate, the needle is too fine, lipid plugs may not be discharged with residue, can not achieve the purpose of treatment, the needle is too thick, will artificially form skin damage, is not conducive to repair; second, their own use of this stick needle, may not meet the requirements of sterilization, while the medical equipment in the hospital have strict sterilization measures; the most important is to pick acne technique. The direction of the sebaceous duct opening is different in different parts of the body, so you should use the stick needle in the direction of the opening, and you may not be able to grasp the key points correctly. The stick needles used in hospitals or specialized beauty institutes are not suitable for all skin lesions, but only for blackheads and pimples. It is therefore advisable for people with acne to be careful with the various acne stick needles available in the market. It would be a shame if the inappropriate use of such needles leads to infection, pus, pigmentation or scarring. If you have a new pimple or two on your face that makes you red and sore, try the following two easy methods: Bring your own bottle of tea tree or lavender essential oil and use one drop at a time, dabbing it on the pimple with your finger to promote pimple drainage and reduce inflammation. Or use a topical vitamin A acid cream at night to not only remove the keratinized material blocking the mouth of the follicle, but also to promote the expulsion of the pimple.
