How soon can you have intercourse after fibroid surgery

  After uterine fibroid surgery, it usually takes 1 month before you can have intercourse.  If the patient has poor recovery after surgery due to anemia or occurrence of post-operative complications or psychological stress before the surgery, the rest time can be extended appropriately and the body will recover well before having intercourse. Uterine fibroids are a kind of benign tumor common in women of childbearing age, most of them have no uncomfortable symptoms when they occur, but a few patients may have anemia, larger fibroids growing above 5cm in diameter or women with severe anemia, and the effect of medication is not good or complications occur, so they need to be given surgery in time to avoid affecting the health of patients.  In addition, patients need to go to the hospital for a review 1 month after the fibroid surgery to assess the post-operative recovery according to the doctor’s examination results.
