Male sperm production in a few days

Male sperm can be produced continuously, but if fully mature, it takes about 3 months. Normal male spermatozoa develop by gradual division of testicular spermatogenic cells, which include spermatogonia, primary spermatocytes, secondary spermatocytes, sperm cells and spermatozoa. Spermatogonia can be produced every day, and the process of spermatogenic cell development takes about 45 days. However, the spermatozoa formed through the above process only have the basic structure of spermatozoa and do not yet have the ability to move and fertilize, so they need to be stored in the epididymis for a period of time, usually 30-50 days, before they can develop into mature sperm. Therefore, the sperm production cycle takes 3 months, which means that the sperm in the semen ejaculated by a man starts developing about 3 months ago. Therefore, if you are planning to get pregnant, it is recommended that men prepare for pregnancy in advance, maintain a good lifestyle, avoid staying up late, and avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, especially alcohol abuse.
