In case of “triple positive” or HBV-DNA positive, antiviral treatment should be given to reduce or eliminate its infectiousness. If a woman who is “triple positive” or HBV-DNA positive is pregnant, she should receive hepatitis B HPV immunoglobulin injections and hepatitis B vaccine in the 7, 8, and 9 months prior to delivery and at the time of birth. One study showed that 97.13% of newborns of “triple positive” mothers were not infected when they received one injection of Hepatitis B HPG within 24 hours of birth and one injection at 1 month, followed by Hepatitis B vaccine at 2, 3, and 5 months of age. Newborns of mothers with “triple P3” were not infected, while newborns of mothers with “triple P3” received three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine after birth (at birth, after 1 month, and after 6 months).
