Can early stage cervical cancer be cured?

Cervical cancer is a tumor disease with a high degree of deterioration and a high mortality rate, so timely treatment is the key. Cervical cancer is divided into early, middle and late stages according to the symptoms, and cervical cancer can be completely cured after systematic treatment in early stages. In early stage, cervical cancer can be treated by total hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection because the cancer cells have not spread throughout the body. Total hysterectomy is to remove the whole uterus together, so that the malignant tumor growing on the cervix is also removed, which is very effective for the treatment of early stage cervical cancer. If only precancerous lesions are found in the cervix and have not developed into substantial tumors, local cervical surgery can be performed in this case, that is, only the lesions on the cervix are removed. After the surgery, patients in the middle and late stage need further radiotherapy, chemotherapy or biological cell therapy to completely kill the remaining cancer cells in the body and effectively prevent the recurrence of cervical cancer. Early treatment of cervical cancer is also one of the best treatment periods for cervical cancer. If it is not completely cured at this time, cancer cells may metastasize to all parts of the body with the development of the disease, and there is no way to completely cure the disease when it reaches advanced stage.
