The characteristics of cellular immunotherapy are mainly divided into three points: 1. Using biological cytokines that normal people rely on but tumor patients express less to mobilize the body’s own immune force to achieve anti-tumor effect, which has little side effect compared with radiotherapy and chemotherapy; 2. Treatment with molecularly targeted drugs has a clear target and has no effect on normal cells other than tumor cells, which can significantly curb the progression of tumor and prolong the life of patients with mid- to late-stage tumors that are not suitable for surgery. According to the comparison of clinical treatment, the following tumor patients are most suitable to receive biological therapy: early stage tumor patients: biological therapy can precisely kill tumor cells and improve the success rate of recovery; postoperative patients: biological therapy can remove residual tumor cells, prevent metastasis and ensure long-term survival with tumor; combined therapy patients: biological therapy combined with surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can reduce toxic side effects and enhance the therapeutic effect; more severe patients: for patients who cannot bear surgery, biological therapy can be used to treat tumor cells. For those who cannot tolerate surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, biological therapy has a high success rate due to its safety and high efficiency; for those with advanced tumors, biological therapy can prolong the survival time, improve the quality of life and increase the 5-year survival rate by nearly double.
