Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan (知柏地黄丸) has the function of nourishing yin and lowering fire (nourishing yin essence and lowering fire), mainly treating yin deficiency of the liver and kidney (insufficient yin in the liver and kidneys), and evidence of inflammation of the deficiency fire, yin deficiency and fire within the scope of treatment of Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan (知柏地黄丸); it is not recommended to use it on people who have colds or fevers, and prohibited to consume food that is not easy to digest. Yin deficiency and fire-exuberant internal heat often have the above clinical symptoms, so taking Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan can play a therapeutic role. The precautions for the use of Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan are that patients with hypertension, diabetes, liver disease and other chronic diseases should be taken under the guidance of a doctor; children, pregnant women, lactating women should also be taken under the guidance of a doctor; patients who are allergic to the components of this drug should not be used.
