Do you need to walk more if the fetus is not in the right position?

It is not obvious that more movement of pregnant women can help to correct fetal malposition. After 32 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus grows rapidly, the amniotic fluid is relatively reduced, and the fetal position will be more fixed during this period of time. Therefore, after 32 weeks of pregnancy, if the baby is in the state of fetal malposition, it is basically equal to certainty. Usually the best time to correct the fetal position should be around 34 weeks. It is recommended that pregnant women adopt the chest-knee recumbent position, i.e., the pregnant woman’s thighs are perpendicular to the bed, kneeling down on the bed, with her body leaning down to the bed. This is done twice a day for about 15 minutes each time for 1 week, which is a widely used method of correcting fetal position nowadays. When doing the knee-chest position, the pregnant woman should empty her bladder and unbuckle her belt in order to achieve the purpose of correcting the fetal position. In addition, if the pregnant woman has abnormalities such as placenta previa, she should consult her doctor to clarify whether the fetal position can be corrected on her own.
