Viral herpes is a viral skin disease caused by the herpes virus. It is generally divided into herpes simplex and herpes zoster. Herpes zoster can be cured, and after healing, a longer-lasting immunity can be obtained and usually does not recur. Herpes simplex is prone to recurrence and is not easily cured. Treatment is aimed at shortening the course of the disease, preventing secondary bacterial infections and systemic spread, and reducing the chances of recurrence and transmission. The treatment of herpes zoster, for example, is based on clearing heat and dampness, moving Qi and relieving pain. In the initial stage, the main treatment is to clear heat and dampness, and in the later stage, the main treatment is to activate blood circulation and relieve pain. (1) liver heat symptoms: bright red lesions, burning and stinging pain, tense herpes wall; bitter mouth and dry throat, irritability, dry stool, yellow urine; red tongue, thin yellow or yellow thick moss, smooth pulse. Treatment: Clearing and draining liver fire, detoxifying and relieving pain. Remedy: Gentian and liver diarrhea soup with addition and subtraction. For head and face, add burdock and wild chrysanthemum; for dry stools, add raw rhubarb. (2) Spleen deficiency and dampness evidence Symptoms: light-colored skin lesions, pain is not obvious, herpes wall is loose; mouth is not thirsty, little food and abdominal distension, stools are sometimes loose; tongue is light or normal, white or white greasy coating, pulse is sluggish or smooth. Treatment: Strengthening the spleen, relieving dampness, detoxifying and relieving pain. Remedy: Add reduction of De-Dampness and Stomach Ling Tang. If the blisters are large and numerous, add Poria cocos, Rhizoma Dioscorea, Plantago ovata. (3) Qi stagnation and blood stasis symptoms: local pain after rash reduction or fading, radiating to nearby parts, unbearable pain, restlessness, severe cases can last for months or longer; dark tongue, white coating, thin pulse. Treatment: Promoting blood circulation, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. Remedy: Peach and Red Four Animals Soup with addition and subtraction. If the heart is disturbed and sleep is poor, add gardenia, sour date; if the pain is severe, add frankincense, myrrh, centipede; if the body is weak in old age, add astragalus, codonopsis, etc. 2, external treatment (1) at the beginning with the two flavor pulling the poisonous san mix thick tea water external application; or external application of double cypress san, three yellow lotion, or fresh amaranth, wild chrysanthemum leaves, jade hair flower leaves pounded external (2) after the blister broken with Huang Lian cream, four yellow cream or Qing Dai cream external application (3) if the blister does not break or blister larger, can be used three prong needle or sterilized empty needle piercing, suck out the herpes or make herpes fluid out, in order to reduce the discomfort of swelling pain.
