There is no cure for liver cancer, and five-year disease-free survival is mostly used as a reference. If the disease-free survival of early-stage liver cancer patients reaches or exceeds five years after treatment, it can be called clinical cure. Early stage liver cancer tumor is usually less than 2cm and the tumor cells have not metastasized, some patients can be treated by surgery, radiotherapy, liver transplantation and other methods. Because the early symptoms of liver cancer are not typical, when the symptoms are obvious, most of them have already entered the middle or late stage of liver cancer, which has poor treatment effect, low five-year survival rate and poor prognosis. In addition, liver cancer is highly malignant and has a high recurrence rate within 2-3 years after surgery. As liver cancer has a more insidious onset, patients are advised to consult with hepatobiliary surgery to rule out the possibility of liver cancer when they have long-term digestive symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting.
