I. Initial interview
When we first saw the patient, we could observe that she looked anxious and nervous, and she reported that she found a pale red papule on her vulva by chance after taking a bath in a public bath 3 months ago, and a week ago, she found multiple papillary rice-sized swellings with itching. However, since the discovery of this symptom, her diet, sleep, urine and stool were relatively normal, and there was no significant change in her weight. The company’s main goal is to provide the best possible service to its customers. The patient’s history was detailed, and Ms. Li denied any history of unclean sexual contact, so it was considered that the infection was caused by contact with HPV virus while taking a bath in a public bath, and the patient was advised to undergo further tests to clarify the diagnosis.
Second, the treatment process
The patient was first given a specialist examination, which revealed the presence of multiple papillary rice-sized swellings on the vulva and urethra, which were soft to the touch and not accompanied by pressure pain, and the presence of light red papules with scratch marks on part of the vulva. In order to make a clear diagnosis, the patient agreed to undergo further HPV testing, and the results showed that HPV-6, combined with the patient’s clinical symptoms, could be diagnosed as condyloma acuminata. After discussing with the patient and his family, it was decided to give the patient physical microwave treatment.
III. Treatment effect
After the microwave treatment, the lumps in the vulva area were completely eliminated and further increase in size was prevented. Postoperative infrared irradiation can keep the wound surface dry and promote local healing. Recombinant human interferon alpha 2b gel was applied to the wound to promote healing and prevent infection at the same time. 5 days after surgery, the patient’s wound recovered well and no infection symptoms appeared.
IV. Notes
I was very happy to see that the patient’s symptoms had improved, and I instructed the patient to pay attention to the following aspects in daily life.
1. In daily life, you need to ensure the hygiene of the vulva area, wash your vulva and change your underwear regularly, take a shower when bathing, and use towels and other substances for exclusive use and disinfect them in time after use. Try to avoid swimming pools in public places, and avoid using the bidet in public toilets.
2, patients also need to pay attention to ensure a light, low-fat diet, avoid eating spicy and stimulating and greasy food.
3, if there is a sexual partner, it is recommended to actively go to the hospital for the corresponding examination.
4, patients also need to maintain a relaxed mood in daily life, regular rest and rest, to avoid excessive anxiety or stay up late, resulting in a decline in the body’s ability to resist disease.
Five, personal insights
If the patient has symptoms similar to the above, she needs to actively go to the hospital and give the appropriate treatment under the guidance of the doctor, which can better control the disease. In addition, the more effective way to prevent HPV infection is HPV vaccination, so it is recommended to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
