Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in female gynecology. The treatment of cervical cancer requires a comprehensive treatment plan based on surgical radical treatment. TCM can also be used for the treatment of cervical cancer, but it is not possible to rely on TCM alone. Cervical cancer has been cured, which is a good situation, but it may not be cured completely by TCM treatment. It is possible that TCM is used for post-operative adjuvant treatment or between radiotherapy and chemotherapy to reduce the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and to improve the body resistance and assist in anti-tumor. Most of the cervical cancers are squamous cancers, which are still sensitive to radiotherapy. Some patients with poor health condition or late stage of tumor can be treated by radiotherapy directly without surgery, and TCM can only play an adjuvant treatment role.
