Bechcets Syndrome B.S. is a disease of unknown etiology, based on inflammatory changes in small blood vessels, and characterized by chronic progressive and recurrent multi-systemic inflammatory changes in the mouth, eyes, genitals and skin ulcers. It is one of the most difficult diseases at home and abroad, and belongs to the category of “fox disease” in Chinese medicine. In recent years, the Department of Rheumatology of our hospital has developed its own “Eight Yellow Compound” to treat 36 cases of Leukoarai Syndrome with certain effect. The efficacy of “Eight Yellow Combination” in treating 36 cases of Behçet’s syndrome, the principle of cubic medicine and the pathological basis of Behçet’s syndrome are reported as follows, in order to find the drug formulations and new treatment methods for Behçet’s syndrome, summarize its efficacy and deepen the understanding of Behçet’s syndrome. A data and methods Case selection A total of 36 cases of outpatients and inpatients were collected from 1995 to 2001 in our hospital. The age distribution was 21-30 years old in 12 cases, 31-40 years old in 10 cases, 41-50 years old in 6 cases, 51-60 years old in 4 cases, and 61-70 years old in 2 cases, with an average age of 37 years. Among them, 21 cases were male and 15 cases were female. Diagnostic criteria The American College of Rheumatology diagnostic criteria for Leukocerebrosides syndrome were selected. Chinese medicine identification and typing criteria The diagnostic basis and evidence classification criteria of fox disease in the Chinese medicine industry standard of the People’s Republic of China, “Diagnostic and efficacy criteria for Chinese medicine diseases” were used. ”The symptoms include high fever, sweating, sores on the mouth and tongue, burning pain, aching joints, erythema nodosum on the lower extremities, stuffiness and distension in the chest, bitterness in the mouth and dryness in the throat, ulceration or sores on the vulva of the scrotum in men, yellow and thick banding in women, red tongue, yellow fur, and slippery pulse. 2. The efficacy assessment criteria were adopted from the Chinese medicine industry standard of the People’s Republic of China, “Diagnostic and efficacy criteria for Chinese medicine diseases”. Effective: most of the main symptoms such as mouth, eye, external genital ulcers and skin nodules disappeared, negative acupuncture reaction, and the condition is stable; improved: the main symptoms are obviously reduced, and the condition can be kept stable with continuous medication; not cured: the condition does not improve, or is aggravated. The effective rate = (the number of effective cases + the number of improved cases)/total cases×100％. After treatment, among the 36 patients, 17 cases of damp-heat and toxic knot type, 12 cases were effective, 2 cases improved and 3 cases were not cured, with an effective rate of 82.4%; 19 cases of liver and spleen damp-heat type, 15 cases were effective, 3 cases improved and 1 case was not cured, with an effective rate of 73.7%. The total effective rate of the two types of patients was 77.8%, and the difference was not significant by statistical treatment. The basis of the formula of “Eight Yellow Compound” was derived from the pathogenesis of Leukocerciasis syndrome and the etiology and pathogenesis of “Fox Confusion Disease” in Chinese medicine.
