What kind of toothbrush to choose for bleeding gums

Healthy gums do not bleed when brushing or eating. Some people brush their teeth and sometimes their gums bleed, but they do not feel any pain, so they do not care about it. In fact, bleeding gums are most likely to be caused by periodontal disease. The early stage of periodontal disease is painless but not self-healing. Due to the tissue lesions around the teeth, a large number of capillaries in the gums become congested and expanded due to inflammation, and the gums become dark red, soft and edematous, which often causes the gums to bleed when brushing or chewing food. If gum inflammation is not treated in time, the periodontal ligament will be attacked and the alveolar bone supporting teeth will be destroyed and absorbed, and symptoms such as bad breath and pus overflowing from the gums will appear. What kind of toothbrush should I choose for bleeding gums? If you find that your gums are bleeding when you brush your teeth, you should first check whether the bristles of your toothbrush are too hard and replace it with a periodontal care toothbrush with a small head and soft bristles, and brush your gums carefully in front of a mirror where they are red and swollen and prone to bleeding. After removing local irritants and anti-inflammatory treatment, if your gums are still bleeding, do not be careless and go to the hospital as soon as possible for further examination to avoid misdiagnosis and mistreatment.
