Liver cancer, once known as an incurable disease, nowadays, there are many treatment methods and the effect is greatly improved, the key lies in early detection and standardized treatment. According to statistics, the 5-year survival rate after resection can reach 82% for liver cancer less than 2 cm in diameter, 66% for liver cancer 2-4 cm in diameter, 40% for liver cancer 4-5 cm, and 20% for liver cancer larger than 5 cm. This shows the importance of early detection and early treatment. However, even for small hepatocellular carcinoma, the recurrence rate is still as high as 40% within 5 years after resection. Therefore, close and regular review is still necessary after surgery. Generally, it is better to review once a month in the first six months, once every two to three months after six months, and once every six months after one year. Once a suspected recurrence is found, it should be dealt with in time and the frequency of review should be increased.
