Can one side of the nose always bleed and be cancerous?

Total bleeding from one side of the nose may be caused by cancer, but it is relatively rare. It is recommended to promptly visit the ENT department for examination to clarify the cause and treat accordingly. When suffering from diseases such as nasopharyngeal fibroma and nasopharyngeal cancer, some patients may experience total bleeding from one side of the nose, which mainly manifests as bleeding from the anterior nostril and a large amount of bleeding. In contrast, nasopharyngeal carcinoma is commonly associated with blood in the sputum and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, and less often with total bleeding from one side of the nose. In addition to cancer, dry weather may cause dry rupture of the nasal mucosa, which may also lead to bleeding from one side of the nose. It can also occur if there is a bad habit of digging the nostrils with hands frequently, causing the nasal mucosa to erode and bleed. In daily life, it is recommended to dig the nostrils with hands less often, pay attention to a light diet, avoid staying up late, and should not eat spicy and stimulating food. If nasal bleeding occurs frequently, you should go to the ENT department in time.
