Can dry eyes be a precursor to liver cancer?

There is no clinical correlation between dry eyes and liver cancer precursors, therefore, dry eyes are not liver cancer precursors. As the most common malignant tumor of the liver, liver cancer is mainly caused by hepatitis B virus infection and aflatoxin destruction of liver cells, which leads to malignant proliferation of liver to form malignant tumor. Its typical clinical manifestation can be asymptomatic, or it can manifest as dull pain and discomfort in the right upper abdomen, and in severe cases, jaundice, ascites, abnormal blood clotting function, and even non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. For the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, a combination of hematological AFP, ultrasound, enhanced CT, and even enhanced MRI is needed to make a clinical diagnosis. The diagnosis is usually confirmed through pathological examination required. There is no correlation between dry eyes and liver cancer precursors, so dry eyes are not liver cancer precursors.
