What are common lumps in the neck

  Neck masses are relatively common and can be a common manifestation of neck or non-neck diseases. Malignant tumors, thyroid disease and inflammation, congenital diseases and benign tumors each account for 1/3 of neck masses. Common diseases are as follows: 1. Tumors Primary tumors such as sublingual cysts, hemangiomas, etc. Malignant tumors such as malignant lymphoma, etc. 2. Metastatic tumors with primary lesions mostly in the oral cavity, nasopharynx, thyroid, lung, mediastinum, breast, gastrointestinal tract and pancreas, etc.  2.Inflammatory diseases Acute and chronic lymphadenitis, lymph node tuberculosis, soft tissue septic infection, etc.  3, congenital diseases such as thyroglossal duct cyst or fistula, thyropharyngeal duct cyst or fistula, etc. Physical examination should be comprehensive, combined with appropriate tests to diagnose, and puncture or excisional biopsy if necessary.
