Introduction to Psychological Disorders

  Psychological disorder refers to a person due to mental tension, distress, and the impact of their own qualities, so that emotions, concepts, behavior, interests, personality and other aspects of dysfunction, so that in thinking, emotions and behavior, the phenomenon of deviation from the norms of social life. The more serious the deviation, the more serious the psychological disorder. Generally speaking, there are mild and severe psychological disorders.  1.Mild psychological disorder is characterized by a clear sense of abnormality in some aspect, and the ability to criticize, and most of the behavior can be self-control; for the disease, self-feeling is very painful, but often not understood by others; there is a strong desire to seek treatment, most of the patients are susceptible to the influence of psychological suggestion, before the disease have the corresponding personality defects. The onset of the disease has certain precipitating factors, often under the blow of one or more mental factors or psychological pressure.  Common mild psychological disorders are: anxiety, depression, hypochondria, terror, compulsion, hysteria, neurasthenia, neurotic eating disorder, psychosexual disorder, sleep disorder, and so on.  2.Severe psychological disorder refers to the disorder of the whole psychological function, the coordination of all aspects of mental activities is seriously damaged, and the relationship between the body and the surrounding environment is also seriously dysfunctional. Many patients have delusions, hallucinations, delusions of grandeur, emotional disorders, laughing and crying, self-talk, strange behavior, and reduced volition, and the majority of patients lack self-awareness, do not admit they are ill, and do not actively seek medical help.  Common severe psychological disorders include schizophrenia, manic-depressive psychotic disorder, paranoid psychotic disorder and psychotic disorders associated with various organic pathologies.
