Course of treatment for patients with severe craniocerebral injuries?

A young female patient, 28 years old, was admitted to our department on 23.04.2014. She was admitted to the hospital with a fall injury of 1 hour. Admission diagnosis: severe craniocerebral injury: diffuse axonal injury. On the first day after admission, cardiac respiratory arrest occurred, and the patient’s heartbeat and respiration resumed after 30 minutes of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. After emergency CT, surgical indications were found, and craniotomy with debridement was performed immediately under general anesthesia, and the patient was in deep coma after the operation. On the second day after the operation, cardiac respiratory arrest occurred again, and was successfully resuscitated by cardiopulmonary resuscitation. After careful treatment by all the staff of our department and the intensive care unit, the patient is now fully awake and can get out of bed with normal intelligence. The whole medical staff of our department was sincerely happy. Joking with the patient, we said, “You are twice to the gates of hell, and then the king of hell does not want you, and then called you back.” The patient laughed and thanked us from the bottom of his heart. We all laughed too!
