Self-reinforcement methods for treating depression in time

The treatment of depression includes medication and psychotherapy, and psychotherapy is the most important. One of the effective methods of psychotherapy is the “self-reinforcement method”. This psychotherapy method is based on the theory and long-term practice of psychological counseling from the East and the West. Its theoretical basis is that some people suffer from depression mainly because they constantly reinforce their negative emotions and behaviors, and if they do the opposite, constantly and timely reinforce their positive emotions and behaviors, the depression will be reduced and finally disappear. The specific implementation of the “self-reinforcement method in time” is as follows: First, insist on normal activities. Some patients can go to work and do housework normally, but they don’t go to work or even do housework. This is very harmful. The more this happens, the more useless they feel. In fact, patients are capable of completing work tasks and doing housework. As long as you do what you need to do, your mood will not be increasingly depressed. Secondly, set a plan to leave room. Every night before going to bed, consider what to do tomorrow. The plan should not be set too high, nor too low, leaving sufficient room for manoeuvre. This way, you can successfully complete the plan every day. This is what people usually say “jump to pick the fruit to”. Thirdly, affirm yourself in time. Every night before going to bed, to fully affirm their achievements and progress of the day that is about to pass, not to speak of negative things. It is best to keep a diary and write down good experiences, progress and achievements in it. If you keep a diary like this every day, you will find life more and more interesting. Fourth, do not talk about negative things to friends and relatives, and friends and relatives do not listen to the negative talk of the patient. This is not a lack of sympathy for the patient, but the main thing is that friends and relatives listen to the patient talk about negative things, which will strengthen them to talk about negative things.
