What titer of syphilis is considered cured

The titer of syphilis is an indicator of the effectiveness of syphilis treatment, but it is not possible to say whether syphilis is cured simply by the titer of syphilis, but the cure of syphilis is a comprehensive judgment. For example, if the titer of syphilis gradually decreases after the corresponding treatment, then the decrease to negative can be basically considered as cured. However, it is still necessary to review after stopping the medication, that is, to follow up, which is generally not less than 3 years. Then the titer of syphilis will remain negative for 3 years, and only then can it be said to be cured. If the titer of syphilis drops to a value, for example, 1:2 or 1:4, but the titer does not drop any further after the corresponding anti-syphilis treatment, then it is likely to be cured. If there is no symptom of syphilis for 2-3 years and the titer is no longer decreasing or increasing, then it can also be considered as a cure if the serology of syphilis is fixed.
