How to choose treatment for early to mid-stage cervical cancer

The treatment of cervical cancer is a systematic and complex process, and the current treatment options for cervical cancer depend mainly on the stage of the disease and the systemic condition. Therefore, it is especially important to carefully consider and choose the best plan that meets individual characteristics before formal treatment is administered. Western medical treatment is a “double-edged sword”, which needs to be chosen scientifically, reasonably and appropriately. In the past, the treatment of cervical cancer can be summarized as “destructive” treatment, that is, to kill the tumor to the greatest extent possible and reduce the number of tumors in the body. However, this “destructive” treatment is a “double-edged sword”, which is not selective to cervical tissues and cancer cells. While reducing the number of tumor cells, it often hurts the innocent normal cervical tissues and cells, thus causing serious damage to human tissues and organs, and even hurting the “vital energy” of the patient, making it impossible for the patient to recover, and in serious cases, causing the patient’s death. Therefore, it is important to choose traditional treatment methods in a reasonable and appropriate manner. Although scientists and doctors all over the world are doing their best to improve the treatment methods of Western medicine, as well as to improve the efficacy of such methods and reduce the toxic side effects. However, because there is no breakthrough in the mechanism, traditional treatment methods are still not free from the “double-edged sword”. It is crucial for every cervical cancer patient to develop a reasonable, scientific and effective treatment plan. Because a proper treatment plan can make patients recover as soon as possible, while inappropriate or excessive treatment can lead to the failure of patients’ organ functions and decrease in quality of life. Therefore, cervical cancer treatment plan should be chosen carefully.
