The cervical cancer quadrivalent vaccine is suitable for women aged 20-45 years old in our country. This vaccine prevents four types of HPV infection: HPV 6, 11, 16 and 18. 6 and 11 are low-risk human papilloma viruses, which can cause vulvar and vaginal warts in women after infection; 16 and 18 are high-risk human papilloma viruses, which mainly cause cervical cancer. After using this vaccine, more than 70% of cervical cancers can be prevented. Therefore, cervical cancer screening should be done routinely after cervical cancer quadrivalent vaccine, because HPV cannot prevent a small percentage of cervical cancers.
