Patients with headache and eye pain need to consider the following diseases: 1. Cluster headache: manifests as severe pain around one side of the eye with headache. The pain is intense in nature and unbearable. Most attacks are on the same side and usually occur at the same time of day, such as 1-2 hours just after going to sleep. Drinking alcohol, certain special smells, such as the smell of paint, perfume, etc., may trigger the appearance of the above symptoms.2. Ophthalmic diseases: Patients with glaucoma, for example, have pain in the eye accompanied by a severe headache on the same side of the forehead.3. Orbital apical syndrome: It is a disease that can be caused by inflammation, tumors and bleeding, and orbital trauma. Clinically, patients can present with headache and eye pain, in addition to increased orbital pressure and protrusion of the eyeball.
